    The 1398094 Detachable Y Cable is used on old IBM keyboards with an integrated mouse device (trackball or trackpoint).

    For customers wanting a lower cost option for the 1395110 Detachable Cable - The 1398094 can also be used on standard IBM keyboards without the integrated mouse. The SDL connector plugs into the back of the keyboard and the miniDIN connector that is labeled with the keyboard icon plugs into the PC. The miniDIN connector with the mouse icon should be left unattached.
